Kaufen, kaufen, kaufen! Shopping lieben wir auch! Und das bei bestem Euro-Kurs
Minimalismus durchs Leben im Wohnmobil und Shopping… passt das zusammen? Zugegeben, es fällt wirklich schwer, nicht bergeweise Schmuck, Klamotten und sonstiges Zeug zu kaufen, bei dem Wechselkurs. Seit ich hier in der Türkei bin (Anfang August 2018), schwankt er zwischen 6,2 und 8 TL, die man für einen Euro bekommt. Der Kursabsturz ist noch nicht lange her und daher haben viele Händler ihre Preise noch nicht angepasst. Da bekommt man Shirts, die sonst für umgerechnet 5-10€ schon günstig waren, für weniger als 3€ und echt schönen Schmuck auch quasi geschenkt. Da ist die Verlockung natürlich groß. Ich hab fast nur gekauft, was ich auch wirklich brauchte und mir vorgenommen hatte, zu kaufen: Ne Cappi, einen neuen Bikini, einen kleinen Rucksack, schicke Handtücher, … ^^
Darüber hinaus noch: eine neue kurze Hose, zwei schicke Shirts, eine kleinere Handtasche… Naja, so ganz hats bei mir mit der absoluten Zurückhaltung dann doch nicht geklappt 😀
Und wo haben wir geshoppt?
Erstmal auf dem Bazar Kemeralti in Izmir. Dort findet man wirklich ALLES. Klamotten, jede Menge Schmuck, Küchenutensilien, Handyzubehör, ach, was weiß ich was noch alles. Und natürlich immer mal wieder nen frisch gepressten, kühlen Orangensaft zwischendurch. Ein Shoppingtag in Kemeralti ist für mich meistens auch gleichzeitig ein Saft-Fasten-Tag 😀
Dann gibts da noch Agora, ein großes Einkaufszentrum im Stadtteil Balcova in Izmir. Dort kann man auch Stunden verbringen und bummeln was das Zeug hält.
Außerhalb von Izmir waren wir auch in Çeşme shoppen. In der langen Shoppingmeile findet man auch immer was, und wenn es eine frische Kaktusfrucht auf die Hand ist (Essen geht halt immer!)
Auf dem Weg in den Süden war klar, dass wir meine zwei Lieblings-Outlets bei Söke anfahren. Fährt man von Söke aus Richtung Süden, gibt es entlang der Straße einige davon. Und wie immer, wurden wir auch fort wieder fündig und machten ein paar Schäppchen 🙂

Shopping in einem der Outlet-Center in Söke

Shopping, shopping, shopping! We love it! Especially when the prices are that low!
Minimalism because of living in a van and shopping… can this get together? Well, it’s not really easy not to fill my camper with a lot of clothes, jewellery and other stuff.
Since I’m in Turkey (August 2018), I get for 1€ about 6,2 and 8 TL (Turkish Lira). The „crash“ is not long ago, so a lot of merchands haven’t adapted their prices yet.
Shopping in Turkey was low-priced before, but now it’s even better! If you got pretty shirts for about 5 to 10€, now it’s not even 3€ for then and jewellery is also nearly gifted. So the temptation is big.
But I almost only bought what I wanted to: a new cappi, a bikini, a little backpack, beautiful towels… ^^
I also got a new shorts, two shirts, a little handbag… Well, I didn’t manage that restistance-thing too good… 😀
So, where did we go shopping?
First of all, of course, in thr Bazar in Kemeralti, Izmir. There EVERYTHING can be found! Clothes, jewellery, kitchen stuff, and so much more. For me, a day Shopping in Kemeralti is also a day when I only consume Orange-Juice!
Then there is Agora, a big Shopping Center in Balcova, Izmir. There you also can pass hours with shopping.
We’ve also been in Çeşme. In the long shopping street in this nice little city you always find something – for me it was just a fresh cactus-fruit… eating always is a good idea! 😀
On our way south we had to stop at two outlet centers near Söke. If you go south from the city, there are several ones along the road. And like all the other times before, we found some nice stuff there.
